RHINO

RHINIORebuilding Hope in New Orleans (RHINO) is an outreach ministry of St Charles Avenue Presbyterian Church. We seek to provide meaningful service opportunities in New Orleans for out-of-state volunteers. Since opening our doors in October 2005, we have welcomed over 5,500 volunteers and built 28 homes through Habitat for Humanity.

We actively work to help New Orleans residents restore their lives both physically and spiritually alongside our partners from across the nation. We welcome volunteers from September through June. Please take a moment to learn more about who we are and what we do by perusing our website. If you have further questions or would like to schedule a trip, please contact RHINO program manager Avery Strada via e-mail or call (504) 897-0101 ext. 111.

Please read our latest blog for more information on our progress.

RHINO Heads to Jamaica NY on May 12-18th 2013! We will spend a week at First Presbyterian Church, working to help rebuild hope to those who suffered during Hurricane Sandy. If you'd like more information on this Reverse RHINO trip, please contact  Avery Strada at (504) 897-0101 ext 111 or avery@scapc.org.
